The Crime and Disorder Strategies (Prescribed Descriptions) (England) (Amendment) Order 2007

This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5(2) and (3) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998( 1 ):

Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation

1. —(1) This order may be cited as the Crime and Disorder Strategies (Prescribed Descriptions) (England) (Amendment) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 31st July 2007.

(2) This Order shall apply to England only.

(3) In this Order “the 2004 Order” means the Crime and Disorder Strategies (Prescribed Descriptions) (England) Order 2004 ( 2 )

Amendments to the 2004 Order

2. —(1) At the end of article 2(2)(d) of the 2004 Order delete “and”.

(2) At the end of article 2(2)(e) of the 2004 Order substitute “; and” for the full stop.

(3) Following article 2(2)(e) insert—

(f) a social landlord, registered under Part 1 of the Housing Act 1996 ( 3 ) , which is a landlord of accommodation in that local government area. .

3. For article 3(2)(a) of the 2004 Order substitute—

(a) the Environment Agency; .
