The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers in sections 252(4) and 272(7) and (8) of the National Health Service Act 2006( 1 ), makes the following Regulations:—

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Patient Information Advisory Group (Establishment) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 31st August 2007.

Amendment of regulation 3 of the Patient Information Advisory Group (Establishment) Regulations 2001

2. In regulation 3(2) of the Patient Information Advisory Group (Establishment) Regulations 2001( 2 ) (maximum period of membership of the Advisory Group) for “six years” there is substituted “nine years”.
