The Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 (Commencement No. 13) Order 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 103(3) of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000( 1 ), the Secretary of State makes the following Order.

Citation, interpretation and application

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 (Commencement No. 13) Order 2007.

(2) In this Order, “the Act” means the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.

(3) This Order applies in relation to England only.

Appointed day

2. 1st October 2007 is the day appointed for the coming into force of paragraph 4 of Schedule 6 to the Act and section 57 of the Act (creation, diversion and stopping up of highways), in so far as it gives effect to that paragraph.
