The Secretary of State for Transport makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970( 1 ) and now vested in her( 2 ):

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) (England) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 29th September 2007.

Amendment of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2007

2. In regulation 1 of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2007( 3 ) for “30th September 2007” there shall be substituted “15th October 2007”.

The functions of the Minister of Transport under section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 were transferred to the Secretary of State by S.I. 1970/1681 , article 2(1).
