The Mental Health Act 2007 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2007

The Lord Chancellor makes the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 56(3) of the Mental Health Act 2007( 1 ).

Citation and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Mental Health Act (Commencement No. 2) Order 2007.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Commencement

2. Section 51 of the Mental Health Act 2007 comes into force on 1 October 2007.
