The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 405(2) and 406(1) of the Greater London Authority Act 1999( 1 ).

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Transport for London (Consequential Provisions) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 30 th November 2007.

Amendment of the London Local Authorities Act 1995

2. In the definition of “special event” in section 9(8) of the London Local Authorities Act 1995( 2 ) for “the participating council concerned” substitute “the relevant authority concerned”.
