The Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2007

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 178(8) and (9) of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005, (Commencement No 11) Order 2007.

(2) The Order extends to Northern Ireland.

Commencement on 3rd December 2007

2. The following provisions of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 shall come into force on 3rd December 2007—

(a) Section 163 (3);

(b) Section165 (2) & (3);

(c) Section 166 (2); and

(d) Schedule 14 paragraphs 1, 6(a), 6(b), 6(c), 7, 8(a) and 8(b), 11, 12(a) and (b) and (c) and 14.
