The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998( 1 ).

In accordance with section 37(3) of that Act she has consulted with Transport for London.

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Private Hire Vehicles (London)(Transitional Provisions)(Amendment) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 31st December 2007.

Amendments to regulation 6

2. —(1) Regulation 6 of the Private Hire Vehicles (London)(Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2004 is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph (1)(d), for “paragraph (4)” substitute “paragraph (3)”.

(3) Paragraph (1)(e) shall be deleted.

(4) In paragraph (4), for “1988” substitute “1998”.
