The School Admissions Code (Appointed Day) (England) Order 2007

The Secretary of State for Education and Skills makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 85(5) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998( 1 ):

Citation, commencement and application

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as The School Admissions Code (Appointed Day) (England) Order 2007.

2. This Order applies only in relation to England.

Appointed Day

3. The day appointed for the coming into force of the School Admissions Code (a copy of a draft of which was laid before each House of Parliament on 8th January 2007) is 28th February 2007.
