The Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004 (Commencement No. 8) Order 2007

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 60 of the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004 ( 1 ):

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004 (Commencement No. 8) Order 2007.

Commencement

2. The following provisions of the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004 shall come into force on 1st April 2007—

(a) section 14 (surcharge payable on conviction);

(b) section 58(1) (minor and consequential amendments) in so far as it relates to the provisions referred to in paragraph (c);

(c) paragraphs 9 to 11, 30 , 49 to 53 and 63 of Schedule 10;

(d) section 59 (transitional provisions) in so far as it relates to the provision referred in paragraph (e); and

(e) paragraph 7 of Schedule 12.
