Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 1(2) of the Education Act 2005( 1 ), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Inspectors of Schools in England) Order 2007 and comes into force on 7 th March 2007.

Appointment of Her Majesty’s Inspector of Schools in England

2. The person named in the Schedule to this Order is appointed Her Majesty’s Inspector of Schools in England.
