The British Citizenship (Designated Service) (Amendment) Order 2007

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred by section 2(3) of the British Nationality Act 1981( 1 ), makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the British Citizenship (Designated Service) (Amendment) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 1st April 2007.

2. Schedule 2 to the British Citizenship (Designated Service) Order 2006( 2 ) (which specifies descriptions of service designated for the purposes of section 2 of the British Nationality Act 1981) is amended by substituting the following paragraph for paragraphs 12 and 13—

“ 12. Service under the Science and Technology Facilities Council. ” .
