The Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 2007

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 4(5) of Schedule 7 to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992( 1 ).
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limit) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 11th April 2007.
Increase in earnings limits in respect of dependent children and qualifying young persons
2. In paragraph 4(4) of Schedule 7( 2 ) to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992—
(a) in paragraph (a), for the amount “£175” substitute the amount “£180”; and
(b) in paragraph (b), for the amount “£23” substitute the amount “£24” and for the amount “£175” substitute the amount “£180”.

1992 c. 4 . Paragraph 4 has been amended by section 254(1) of, and Schedule 24 to, the Civil Partnership Act 2004 (c. 33) , section 1(3) of, and Schedule 1 to, the Child Benefit Act 2005 (c. 6) and S.I. 2006/663 .
The figures in paragraph 4(4) were substituted by article 2 of S.I. 2006/663 .
