The British Citizenship (Designated Service) (Amendment) Order 2008

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(3) of the British Nationality Act 1981( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the British Citizenship (Designated Service) (Amendment) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 14th February 2008.

Amendment

2. At the end of Schedule 2 to the British Citizenship (Designated Service) Order 2006( 2 ) (which specifies descriptions of service designated for the purposes of section 2 of the British Nationality Act 1981), add the following paragraph—

15. Service under the Welsh Assembly Government. .
