The Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2008

Coming into force in accordance with article 1

This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 3(3)(b) of the Terrorism Act 2000( 1 ).

In accordance with section 123(4)(a) of that Act, a draft of this Order was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.

Accordingly, the Secretary of State makes the following Order—

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2008 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Proscribed organisations

2. In Schedule 2 (Proscribed Organisations) to the Terrorism Act 2000( 2 ), omit “Mujaheddin e Khalq”.
