The Treasury make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 29(5) of the Finance Act 2008( 1 ).

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Finance Act 2008, Section 29 (Appointed Day) Order 2008.

Appointed day

2. The day appointed for the purposes of section 29 of the Finance Act 2008(cap on R&D aid) is 1st August 2008.
