The Designation of Rural Primary Schools (England) Order 2008

The Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families makes the following Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 15 of the Education and Inspections Act 2006( 1 ):
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as The Designation of Rural Primary Schools (England) Order 2008 and comes into force on 28 th July 2008.
Designation of rural primary schools.
2. The schools published on the Department for Children, Schools and Families’ website in a list called “Designated Rural Primary Schools” on 28th July 2008 are designated as rural primary schools in England.
Revocation
3. The Designation of Rural Primary Schools (England) Order 2007( 2 ) is revoked.
