The Secretary of State is satisfied that the National Consumer Council represents the interests of consumers and satisfies the other criteria published by the Secretary of State pursuant to section 11(6) of the Enterprise Act 2002( 1 ). In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Enterprise Act 2002, the Secretary of State makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Enterprise Act 2002 (Bodies Designated to make Super-complaints) (Amendment) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 1st October 2008.

Amendment of the Enterprise Act 2002 (Bodies Designated to make Super-complaints) Order 2004

2. For the list in the Schedule to the Enterprise Act 2002 (Bodies Designated to make Super-complaints) Order 2004( 2 ) there is substituted—

The Campaign for Real Ale Limited.

The Consumer Council for Water.

The Consumers’ Association.

The General Consumer Council for Northern Ireland.

The National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux.

The National Consumer Council. .
