The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Scheme in exercise of powers conferred by sections 16, 17 and 19 of the Highways Act 1980( 1 ) and all other enabling powers:-

1. This Order may be cited as the A556 (M) Motorway (M6 to M56 Link) Supplementary Connecting Roads Scheme 1996 (Revocation) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 7th March 2008.

2. The A556 (M) Motorway (M6 to M56 Link) Supplementary Connecting Roads Scheme 1996( 2 ) is hereby revoked.
