The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Regulations, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 16(3) and 52(1) of the Human Tissue Act 2004( 1 ).
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Human Tissue Act 2004 (Ethical Approval, Exceptions from Licensing and Supply of Information about Transplants) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and shall come into force on 29th December 2008.
Amendment of regulation 3 of the Human Tissue Act 2004 (Ethical Approval, Exceptions from Licensing and Supply of Information about Transplants) Regulations 2006
2. In regulation 3 of the Human Tissue Act 2004 (Ethical Approval, Exceptions from Licensing and Supply of Information about Transplants) Regulations 2006( 4 ), in paragraphs (i) and (iii) of paragraph (4)(b), for “a licence under section 16(2)” substitute “a licence for the purposes of section 16(2)”.
