The UK Borders Act 2007 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2008

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 59(2) and (3)(a) of the UK Borders Act 2007( 1 ).

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the UK Borders Act 2007 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2008.

Commencement

2. The following provisions of the UK Borders Act 2007 shall come into force on 6 ^th January 2009 —

(a) section 21 (children);

(b) for all remaining purposes, section 51 (Border and Immigration Inspectorate: plans); and

(c) for all remaining purposes, sections 52 and 53 (Border and Immigration Inspectorate: relationship with other bodies).
