The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred by section 22(1) of the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide 2007 Act ( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 (Amendment of Schedule 1) Order 2008 and comes into force on 6th April 2008.

Amendment of Schedule 1

2. —(1) Schedule 1 to the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 (list of government departments etc ) is amended as follows.

(2) At the appropriate places, insert “Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform”, “Department for Children, Schools and Families”, “Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills” and “Ministry of Justice (including the Scotland Office and the Wales Office)”.

(3) Omit “Department for Constitutional Affairs (including the Scotland Office and the Wales Office)”, “Department for Education and Skills”, “Department of Trade and Industry”, “Office of the Deputy Prime Minister” and “Privy Council Office”.
