The Police Act 1997 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2008

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers confered upon him by Section 135 of the Police Act 1997( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Police Act 1997 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2008.

(2) This Order extends to Northern Ireland.

Commencement on 1st April 2008

2. The following provisions of the Police Act 1997 shall come into force on 1st April 2008—

(a) Section 112;

(b) Section 113A;

(d) Section 113C;

(e) Section 113D;

(f) Section 113F;

(g) Section 114;

(h) Section 116;

(i) Section 117;

(j) Section 118; and

(k) Section 119.
