The Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 1973 , makes the following Regulations:

Citation and Commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and shall come into force on 6th April 2008.

3. The following regulations are revokedβ€”

(a) regulation 2(b) of the Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) (Fees) (Amendment) 2006 ; and

(b) regulation 2(5) of the Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) (Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2006 .
