The Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 (Commencement No. 2 and Transitional Provision) Order 2008

The Minister for the Cabinet Office makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 74 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007( 1 ):

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 (Commencement No. 2 and Transitional Provision) Order 2008.

Commencement

2. The provisions of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 which are not already in force come into force on 1st April 2008.

Transitional Provision

3. Section 27(1) (Reports) does not apply to the financial year ending on 31st March 2008.
