The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the Export Control Act 2002( 1 ), makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Export Control (Uzbekistan) (Amendment) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 8th May 2009.

2. —(1) The Export Control (Uzbekistan) Order 2005( 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) In Article 1(2), in the definition of “the Regulation” after the words “14 November 2005” insert “as amended by Council Regulation of 23 February 2009( (EC) No 154/2009 3 )”.
