The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the Export Control Act 2002( 1 ), makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Export Control (Uzbekistan) (Amendment) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 8th May 2009.

2. โ€”(1)The Export Control (Uzbekistan) Order 2005( 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) In Article 1(2), in the definition of โ€œthe Regulationโ€ after the words โ€œ14 November 2005โ€ insert โ€œas amended by Council Regulation of 23 February 2009( (EC) No 154/2009 3 )โ€.
