The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the Export Control Act 2002( 1 ), makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Export Control (Uzbekistan) (Amendment) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 8th May 2009.

2. —(1)The Export Control (Uzbekistan) Order 2005( 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) In Article 1(2), in the definition of “the Regulation” after the words “14 November 2005” insert “as amended by Council Regulation (EC) No 154/2009 3 )”.
