The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Commencement No. 10) Order 2009

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 170(3) and (4) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008( 1 ) makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Health and Social Care Act (Commencement No.10) Order 2009.

Appointed day for provisions relating to the Appointments Commission

2. 4th June 2009 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Health and Social Care Act 2008

(a) paragraph 21 of Schedule 10 (amendment to the Health Act 2006( 2 )) in so far as not already in force; and

(b) section 127 in so far as it gives effect to that provision.
