The Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 49(2)(a) and 104(2) of the Childcare Act 2006( 1 ):

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Childcare (Inspections) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and come into force on 31st July 2009.

Amendment to the Childcare (Inspections) Regulations 2008

2. For regulation 3(2)(a) of the Childcare (Inspections) Regulations 2008( 2 ), substitute—

“ (a) on or before 31st July 2012, and ” .
