The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 15 and 17 of the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2000( 1 ), makes the following Regulations.

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Limited Liability Partnerships (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and come into force on 1st October 2009.

Amendment

2. —(1) Part 2 of Schedule 3 to the Limited Liability Partnerships (Application of Companies Act 2006) Regulations 2009 (consequential amendments of the Limited Liability Partnerships Regulations 2001)( 2 ) is amended as follows

(2) In paragraph 13(5) (amendment of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Limited Liability Partnerships Regulations 2001( 3 ): applied provisions of Companies Act 1985), in sub-paragraph (a), after “Part 14 of that Act (investigations etc )” insert “or Part 18 of that Act (floating charges in Scotland)”.
