The Export Control (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2009

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 7 of the Export Control Act 2002( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Export Control (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 14th July 2009.

Amendment

2. After article 9 of the Export Control Order 2008( 2 ) insert—

“ General prohibition

9A. To the extent that, pursuant to any of articles 3 to 9 of this Order, a person may not export goods, the exportation of the goods in question is prohibited. ” .
