The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 69(2)(g) and (5), 128, 132(2) and (3) and 355(1) of the Gambling Act 2005( 1 ):

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Gambling (Personal Licence Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and come into force on 11 th August 2009.

Amendment of the 2006 Regulations

2.The Gambling (Personal Licence Fees) Regulations 2006( 2 ) (“the 2006 Regulations”) are amended as set out in regulations 3 and 4 of these Regulations.

Application fees for personal licences

3. In regulation 3(1)—

(a) in sub-paragraph (a) for “£330” substitute “£370”; and

(b) in sub-paragraph (b) for “£165” substitute “£185”.

Maintenance fees for personal licences

4. In regulation 4(3)—

(a) in sub-paragraph (a) for “£330” substitute “£370”; and

(b) in sub-paragraph (b) for “£165” substitute “£185”.
