The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004( 1 ).

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004 (Commencement No. 12) Order 2009.

Commencement

2. The following provisions of the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004 shall come into force on 30th September 2009 to the extent not already in forceβ€”

(a) section 58 (amendments and repeals) so far as it relates to the provisions specified in paragraphs (c) and (d);

(b) section 59 (transitional and transitory provisions) so far as it relates to the provisions specified in paragraph (e);

(c) in Schedule 10 (minor and consequential amendments) paragraph 48;

(d) in Schedule 11 (repeals) the entry relating to the Crime and Disorder Act 1998( 2 ); and

(e) in Schedule 12 (transitional and transitory provisions) paragraphs 5 and 6.
