The Geneva Conventions and United Nations Personnel (Protocols) Act 2009 (Commencement No.1) Order 2009

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(1) of the Geneva Conventions and United Nations Personnel (Protocols) Act 2009 ( 1 ), makes the following Order.

1. This Order may be cited as the Geneva Conventions and United Nations Personnel (Protocols) Act 2009 (Commencement No.1) Order 2009.

2. Section 1 of the Geneva Conventions and United Nations Personnel (Protocols) Act 2009(amendments of the Geneva Conventions Act 1957) shall come into force on 5 April 2010.
