The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 15 and 17 of the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2000( 1 ), makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Limited Liability Partnerships (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2009 and come into force on 14th December 2009 .
Amendment
2. —(1) The Limited Liability Partnerships (Application of Companies Act 2006) Regulations 2009( 2 ) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 8, in the text of section 54(1)(a) of the Companies Act 2006 (names suggesting connection with government or public authority)( 3 ) as applied to limited liability partnerships, after “any part of the Scottish Administration” insert “, the Welsh Assembly Government”.
