The Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings (Amendment) Order 2009

The Lord Chancellor, after consulting the Lord Chief Justice, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 92(6) and Part 1 of Schedule 11 to the Children Act 1989( 1 ).

Citation and Commencement

1. This Order shall be cited as the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings (Amendment) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 1st February 2010.

Revocation of Jurisdiction

2. Nelson County Court shall cease to be a family hearing centre.

Amendments to the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008

3. The Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008( 2 ) shall be amended by deleting the entry in Schedule 1 to that Order relating to Nelson County Court.
