The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 166(3) of, and paragraphs 1 and 3(a) of Schedule 8 to, the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999( 1 ):

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Asylum Support (Amendment) (Revocation) Regulations 2009 and shall come into force on 5 ^th April 2009.

Revocation

2. The Asylum Support (Amendment) Regulations 2009( 2 ) are revoked.
