The Secretary of State makes the following Order in the exercise of the powers conferred by section 1G(10) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998( 1 ).

Citation, commencement and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (Intervention Orders) (Amendment) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 30th April 2010.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Amendment of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (Intervention Orders) Order 2006

2. For article 4(a) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (Intervention Orders) Order 2006( 2 ) substitute—

(a) “appropriate activities” are such activities as are involved in the provision of drug misuse treatment services under the “Models of care for treatment of adult drug misusers: Update 2006” published by the National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse in July 2006, and .
