The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 25(6) of the Planning Act 2008( 1 ).

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Planning Act 2008 (Railways Designation) Order 2010 and comes into force on 1st March 2010.

Designation

2. Each of the following is designated for the purposes of section 25 of the Planning Act 2008

(a) Network Rail Infrastructure Limited( 2 );

(b) Network Rail (CTRL) Limited( 3 ).
