The Mental Health Act 2007 (Commencement No.11) Order 2010

The Secretary of State, with the agreement of the Welsh Ministers, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 56(1) and (2) of the Mental Health Act 2007( 1 ):

Citation and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Mental Health Act 2007 (Commencement No.11) Order 2010.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Commencement of provision

2. Section 31(3) (accommodation, etc. ) of the Mental Health Act 2007 shall come into force on 1st April 2010.
