The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in the exercise of powers conferred by section 569(4) of, and paragraph 3 of Schedule 1 to, the Education Act 1996( 1 ).

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Pupil Referral Units) (Application of Enactments) (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2010 and come into force on 1st September 2010.

Amendment of Schedule 1 to the Education (Pupil Referral Units) (Application of Enactments) (England) Regulations 2007

2. In Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Education (Pupil Referral Units) (Application of Enactments) (England) Regulations 2007( 2 ) omit—

(a) paragraph 20A and its heading;

(b) paragraph 23A and its heading.

Revocation

3.The Education (Pupil Referral Units) (Application of Enactments) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2010( 3 ) are revoked.
