The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 170(3) and (4) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008( 1 ) makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Commencement No. 14) Order 2010.

Appointed day for provisions relating to the Office of the Health Professions Adjudicator

2. 25th January 2010 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Health and Social Care Act 2008

(a) section 98(1);

(b) section 98(3) insofar as it relates to the provisions of Schedule 6 specified in paragraph (g);

(c) section 107(1);

(d) section 107(4) insofar as it relates to the provision specified in paragraph (c);

(e) section 108;

(f) section 127 insofar as it relates to the provisions of Schedule 10 specified in paragraph (h);

(g) in Schedule 6—

(i) paragraphs 1 to 3,

(ii) paragraphs 11 to 14, and

(iii) paragraphs 17 to 23;

(h) in Schedule 10—

(i) paragraph 2(b),

(ii) paragraph 3 insofar as it is not already in force,

(iii) paragraph 6(a),

(iv) paragraph 13(b), and

(v) paragraph 22.
