Coming into force in accordance with Article 1

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred by section 1(1) of the Anti-Slavery Day Act 2010( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Anti-Slavery Day Act 2010 (Specified Date) Order 2010 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Specified Date

2. The date specified to be observed each year as Anti-Slavery Day is 18th October.
