The Rate of Bereavement Benefits Regulations 2010

M1The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 39(2A), 39C(1A), 122(1) and 175(1) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 .

M2The Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it .

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Rate of Bereavement Benefits Regulations 2010 and shall come into force on 1st January 2011.

Rate of widowed mother's allowance and widow's pension

2. The amount prescribed for the purposes of subsection (2A) of section 39 (rate of widowed mother's allowance and widow's pension) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 is [F1£156.65F1] .
