Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Local Authority and School Performance Targets) (Revocation and Amendment) (England) Regulations 2010 and come into force on 30th January 2011.
Revocation
2. The Regulations listed in the first column of the Schedule are revoked to the extent set out in the third column.
Amendment of the Education (School Performance Targets) (England) Regulations 2004
3. —(1)The Education (School Performance Targets) (England) Regulations 2004( 4 ) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 8 (provision of information on performance targets to local authorities), omit “4,”.
(3) After regulation 8 insert—
“ Provision of information on school performance targets to the Secretary of State
8A. A local authority shall send to the Secretary of State a list of the targets provided by the governing body of each school in their area under regulation 8 by no later than 31st January in the relevant school year. ” .
