The National Health Service Trusts (Originating Capital) Order 2010

The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 5 to the National Health Service Act 2006( 1 ).

The Treasury has consented to the making of this Order as required by paragraph 1(7) of Schedule 5 to that Act.

Citation, commencement and interpretation

1. This Order may be cited as the National Health Service Trust (Originating Capital) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 31st March 2010.

Originating capital of NHS trusts

2. The originating capital of an NHS trust specified in column 1 of the Schedule shall be the amount specified in the corresponding entry in column 2 of the Schedule.
