The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 144, 145 and 320 of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 (Moratorium) (Prescribed Steps) Order 2010.

(2) This Order comes into force on 1st April 2010.

Prescribed steps

2. Any step to enforce security over land held by a registered provider of social housing shall be a prescribed step for the purposes of sections 144 or 145 of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008.
