The Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 2010

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 4(5) of Schedule 7 to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992( 1 ).
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 14th April 2010.
Increase in earnings limits in respect of dependent children and qualifying young persons
2. In paragraph 4(4) of Schedule 7( 2 ) to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992—
(a) in paragraph (a), for “£195” substitute “£200”; and
(b) in paragraph (b), for “£195” substitute “£200”.

1992 c. 4 . Paragraph 4 was amended by section 254(1) of, and Schedule 24 to, the Civil Partnership Act 2004 (c. 33) , and section 1(3) of, and Schedule 1 to, the Child Benefit Act 2005 (c. 6) .
The figures in paragraph 4(4) were substituted by article 2 of S.I. 2009/661 .
