Following full compliance with a direction given by the Secretary of State on 20 August 1997 to the Irish Sailors and Soldiers Trust to wind up its affairs and to take such steps as were specified in the direction for disposing of its property and rights and discharging or transferring its liabilities, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 1(4) of the Irish Sailors and Soldiers Land Trust Act 1987( 1 ), I make the following Order—

Citation and Commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Irish Sailors and Soldiers Land Trust Act 1987 (Dissolution) Order 2011. It shall come into force on 27th April 2011.

Dissolution of the Trust

2. The Irish Sailors and Soldiers Land Trust shall be dissolved with effect from the date of the coming into force of this Order.
