The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(3) of the Access to Justice Act 1999( 1 ), makes the following Order.

1. This Order may be cited as The Legal Services Commission (Number of Commissioners) Order 2011 and comes into force on 30 ^th May 2011.

2. In section 1(3) of the Access to Justice Act 1999—

(a) in paragraph (a), for “seven” substitute “four”; and

(b) in paragraph (b), for “twelve” substitute “six”.
