The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(3) of the Access to Justice Act 1999( 1 ), makes the following Order.

1. This Order may be cited as The Legal Services Commission (Number of Commissioners) Order 2011 and comes into force on 30 th May 2011.

2. In section 1(3) of the Access to Justice Act 1999

(a) in paragraph (a), for “seven” substitute “four”; and

(b) in paragraph (b), for “twelve” substitute “six”.
