The Pensions Act 2008 (Commencement No. 10) Order 2011
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 149(1) of the Pensions Act 2008( ).
Citation
1. This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 2008 (Commencement No. 10) Order 2011.
Commencement of provisions
2. The following provisions of the Pensions Act 2008 shall come into force on 6th April 2012—
(a) section 106 (contracting-out: abolition of all protected rights),
(b) section 148 (repeals), in so far as it relates to Part 3 of Schedule 11, and
(c) Part 3 of Schedule 11 (repeals having effect in accordance with section 106).
